Have you played the game?I also finished Phoenix WRight 3 recently. Easily one of the best games I've played. I love the whole game and now I can't wait to play the fourth one with Apolo, I can't find it here in Palma so I'll need to search hard. I've seen the game on a toys store near to my office but they are selling it at a high price and in a very poor condition with all the cover damaged because of the sun light. It's a small digital artbook featuring characters from the SF franchise enjoying a day at a tropical beach wearing swimsuits. Yeah, lots of fanservice XD The book is free and you can even download it if you want. Past august was the 25th anniversary of Street Fighter and one of my drawings was included on the special 25TH S Anniversary Collectors Box artbook. I bought the whole box (it was a little bit expensive...) and yesterday I got two extra books that Capcom sent me for taking part of the project. The book is really cool! There is art from well know guy from DA and also a lot of amazing art from fans who I didn't knew. I'm really happy with the look of my illustration on paper too.Check out this pic! Hi! How are you?Last week was mi birthday. Now I'm 29. I got a lot of cool gifts, a Pokéball birthday cake and a lot of messages. Thanks!. Thanks to ~Sericulus for the surprise gift, thanks to ~peerro and *Cris-Art for the drawings, thanks to ~Dr-Salvador for the 3DS game and thanks to all the nice comments.This friday I got an email from Capcom telling me that my illustration was selected for a Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Tribute Artbook! I am really happy. I you know me you know how important is this to me. Honestly I didn't though this was possible cause I didn't like the piece at first, but I think it was because I was too tired of it. Capcom told me that the book is going to be part of a special package of limited stuff that will be released to celebrate the anniversary but I don't know what would the other things be, I assume that it will came with a music CD since Capcom was asking for remixed music too. Well, to celebrate that my entry was selected I just uploaded a step-by-step process of the piece for the one who want to know how I worked on it.
Last week I got my copy of the Zelda Zine Vol.2 that came with my Zelda drawing and I liked it a lot, there is a lot of very stylish works! Now I want to have the first issue too. I REALLY want a SNES controller for Wii and Nintendo Europe is giving some to the fans but you need to spend Nintendo Stars in order to get one. The thing it's that I got 5900 stars and the controller costs 7000 so I need 1100 stars. Every game comes with 250 stars (not always) but I don't know when I'll get a new game since I don't have money to spend in such a things. I tried to make a drawing each day but I failed 3 or 4 but for me it's OK. I think that I'm learning a lot with this challenge. I'm forcing myself to draw some of the things i hate the most (hands for example) and I'm sleeping less than before cause sometimes it takes me more time than I expected but I'm more or less happy with the results. Also, it's cool to see your feedback with each piece I upload. January is closed and I like the results. This February I'll try to work with brushed and try new things. It was a total surprise, it's a Bamboo Pen & Touch M Size. I really needed a new tablet cause I was using an old Graphire 3 and it was acting weird and the pen was all broken. This Bamboo tablet feels so soft and comfortable! I don't like to use the touch functions but I'm sure they can be very useful for someone else.Last december I worked on a private university as a teacher. A friend of mine is an arts teacher and he needed someone o take his place while he was on vacations and he gave me the opportunity. I had two groups and it was for 3 weeks and it was really fun! The guys (who were more or less the same age than me) were so nice and took attention to all I said, really cool. I teached a group some color theory and how to use color pencils and the other group how to use Photoshop and how to color with a Wacom tablet. I wish I could repeat this experience soon!This new year I decided to take a challenge: draw at least one coloured sketch every day. This saturday I failed XD so today I'll try to make two drawings. I'll try to draw a lot to see if there is an improvement with time. Last year I drew a lot but it is true that I played a lot of videogames so I'll try to play less and draw more this time. So, I told him that I always watch his streaming cause I was an illustrator and i told him that his work was my nº1 reference since I was a child, so, when he red he searched my nickname (the one I was using in the chat) and he found my gallery. I saw all this live and I was like O_O hahaha. He saw this gallery and made some comments in japanese like sugoi, suge, kawaii, etc... and saved some of the art on his Mac. The bad thing is that he doesn't have a DA account so he couldn't see some of my +18 art!!! he even complained about this in japanese. Mega Man, health & Mega Man Tribute Artbook
Hello guys: Two days ago #UdonCrew sent me an email telling me that my entry for the Mega Man Tribute Artbook was selected! I am very very happy cause I'm fan of Mega Man since I'm a child. I used to draw my own Mega Man bosses even for the art class works. And there's a lot of good friends that were selected too! So, thanks #UdonCrew! About my wrist: some time ago my doctor decided to stop my rehab cause it seems that the therapists were hurting me instead healing me. Now I'm waiting to know what will de doctor do with my injury and there is a possibility to have another operation!. The doctor told me that the only thing I can do to get better is to do nothing, and when he says nothing means nothing: from grabbing bags to be too much time using the computer. Now I'm taking this very seriously and that's why some of you don't see me regularly connected to MSN. I took two and a half weeks holidays to take a rest and I'm not drawing anything. The bad thing is that now my wrist is very sensitive to the climatic changes and atmospheric pressure and here in Palma now the weather is veri inestable... this days are been a hell for my fucking wrist. And important info about my commissions: Due to my wrist I'm not working on commissions at a regular rhythm so I'm closing them and I'm canceling some accepted before. If you have paid for your commission and are waiting for the final work just wait a little bite more. If you haven't received a sketch from me you can cancel it or wait but you'll need to wait a lot.
